      • If history continues to repeat itself, almost all of my of my students will list some type of professional athlete.
      • Discuss the likelihood of making a team at school (middle school)and which students have already made a school team.
    • Video clips of athletes talking about schools they attended.
    • Projector (As a class)
    • Group students according to sport of interest (basketball, baseball, football, hockey, soccer)
  • Possible activities students need to complete to be able to do their project
    • Finding Probability of making a team (Middle School, High School, College)
    • Graphing (select universities to graph the percentage of students entering the pros)
    • Creating charts (rank the schools by the percentages of professional athletes)
    • Researching the internet (Blog about useful websites for this project)
    • Calculating percentages (or fractions from different universities
    • Part to Whole relationships
  • Possible projects to demonstrate the collaborative group’s final product.
    • Create a wiki page
    • Create a powerpoint presentation
    • Create a visual display using a tri-fold board.
